Show that the triangle that is formed by any tangent line to the graph of
and the coordinate axes has an area of 2 square units.
I find this question fascinating because of the generality of the statement being considered. "The triangle formed by ANY tangent line." Taking into consideration the fact that this function has vertical AND horizontal asymptotes I almost couldn't believe my eyes when it work out so nicely. (another fine problem!)
